A half day walking from the heart of the city to its eastern border. It’s a superb way to see how the changing fortunes of the East End have given rise to waves of development and regeneration.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit—the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide.

Starting in the historic Smithfield Market, we make our way into the old working part of London, along canals built for the industrial age but now used for leisure and through districts ravaged by the Blitz now born anew.

We finish in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, site of the 2012 summer Olympic Games, now a thriving new suburb.
