A tour of Bloomsbury, an area synonymous with literary, medical and academic endeavour. On this tour you’ll hear how a once down-at-heel neighbourhood spawned some of the greatest minds, writers and thinkers of the last two centuries.

Town houses and mature trees.

Among them, author Charles Dickens and TS Eliot. John Maynard Keynes, perhaps the pre-eminent economist of the 20th Century lived here. He supported the Bloomsbury group, including the writer Virginia Woolf, which helped end the famously straight-laced morality of the Victorian era.
