Itinerary so far...
Join your personal London guide, a qualified cabbie with a wealth of knowledge, for a leisurely 3-hour walk through the heart of the City. I’ll tell you stories about the wonderful buildings we will visit on our travels, starting outside St Paul's Cathedral, visiting the Churchyard (interior tickets required), discovering interesting architecture, parks, and unique pubs along the way as we walk along the historic River Thames taking in beautiful gardens and historic sights
We’ll walk along Fleet Street, the historical home of British newspapers and visit some of the area's oldest and most famous pubs including the 17th-century Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, the Punch Tavern and the ornate Blackfriar pub. We’ll proceed along the River Thames footpath taking in some of the beautiful gardens along the way.
Your tour will end at Westminster—the bustling governmental area. This is a great opportunity to see the best of London in a relaxed and informative way. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, you're sure to learn something new on this walk.
This tour can be customized to fit your preferences, whether you want to change the entire route or just add a few stops. For example, you could visit the Sherlock Holmes and Old Bank of England pubs, or if it's raining pop into the National Gallery. The wonderfully ornate Leadenhall Market is a favourite (especially among Harry Potter fans) and Bracken House astronomical clock (the strangest in London) is one not to be missed. I can even incorporate parts of other tours to create a truly unique experience. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to customize your tour.
Actual tour destinations may vary depending on weather and where you wish to finish your tour.
